Motorcycle camping in Denmark - FEMA members get the first night free of charge

As you may know MCTC is the owner of a camp for motorcyclist only, called MC Touring Camp. This year the board has decided that all motorcyclists who are a member of FEMA and can present a membership card from a FEMA organisation can spend the first night at MC Touring Camp free of charge, provided they bring their own tent. Please note that members have to be able to show a membership card for each person, who can stay the first night for free.

MC Touring Camp is located at the small village Nødager southeast of Kolind between Arhus and Grenaa in Jutland, Denmark. Only 25 kilometers from ferry connections to/from Sweden and the island of Sjælland (Sealand), and about 45 kilometers from Arhus and Randers. The camp has just been partly rebuilt and renovated with bigger bar, toilet and bathing facilities. At the site you will also find a small swimming pool, cooking facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer. In the bar you can buy breakfast, hot meals, snacks, ice cream, beer, soft drinks and wine at reasonable prices. It costs 40 Danish kroner (app. 5,5 euro) pr. person pr. night to stay at the camp. Small cabins at reasonable prices are also available (advance booking strongly recommended).

MC Touring Camp is open every day in May, June, July and August. From Easter to 1. May and during September the camp is open Friday-Sunday. All touring motorcyclists are welcome at the touring camp. Cars are not allowed at the camp. For further information see www.mctouringclub.dk 'MC Touring Camp', where you will also find a map which shows the location of the camp.

Address: MC Touring Camp, Nødagervej 32 A, Nødager, DK-8560 Kolind, Denmark. Telephone (+45) 8639 2815 - fax (+45) 8639 2805 - e-mail: touringcamp@mctouringclub.dk

The FEMAX scheme aims to help individual members of FEMA organisations get the MAXIMUM benefit from their membership of the world's greatest bikers' rights organisation. The scheme is very simple. Every year FEMA member organisations designate some of their events as 'FEMAX-Friendly'. This means that FREE ENTRY will be granted to attendees from other FEMA organisations who satisfy the following conditions:

  • You must be a CARD CARRYING MEMBER of a FEMA Member Organisation. A full list of qualifying organisations is given below.

  • You must be carrying a passport from your country of domicile, which CANNOT be the same country as the one in which the event is being held. (This means that MAG UK Members CAN get into FEMAX-Friendly events being run say by Kuhle Wampe in Germany, but CANNOT get into MAG UK events for free).

  • You must be riding a bike registered in your country of domicile, e.g. MAG UK Members must be riding a GB registered bike.

If you meet these criteria you will be granted FREE ENTRY to the event.
